LANGUAGE PROGRAMMES ABROAD

Language programmes abroad are a different way of being able to learn, improve and become more fluent in the language. At the same time students are introduced to other cultures and can make friends with other children from around the world, learn to live together and accept other lifestyles. A good experience to grow a little more as a person.

The programmes can be in England, Switzerland or The United States.

ENGLAND, PADWORTH COLLEGE

For boys and girls from 9-16 years of age, for 2 or 4 weeks.

Padworth College is situated near Reading, Berkshire approximately one hour from London. There is one adult for every eight students. The participants live with other adolescents of diverse nationalities – French, Dutch, German, Turkish, Swiss, Greek, Italian Russian Japanese etc. The teaching programme provides 4 hours of English per day according to the student’s level. SWITZERLAND, HAUT-LAC SCHOOL

This is a perfect place for young students.

Switzerland has always been identified as a neutral country in international matters, a fact that guarantees the safety of your child’s stay. There is a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. There are very few Catalan or Spanish students. The majority are Dutch, Australian, German and English.

All the staff at the school is British, therefore English is the main language. There is no difference between this school and an English school.

The school offers different languages – ENGLISH, FRENCH and GERMAN. There are approximately 15 hours of class per week, given by qualified teachers. There are three hours of class in the mornings and in the evenings there are 40 minutes of study time supervised by the teachers. The students are put into groups according to their level to make the most of the classes. On the first day the students are given a level test.
